We look after self-catering places to stay: cottages, farmhouses, barns and the odd hut. Each is chosen as somewhere we would be glad to send a friend.
Where
Most of them are on Exmoor and along the North Devon and Somerset coast. We add to the collection slowly, and only when a place earns it.
That means moorland villages like Exford, Withypool and Simonsbath, and harbour and coast places like Porlock Weir, Lynmouth and Combe Martin. A few are further afield, such as one on the edge of the South Downs.
How it works
Every stay on this site is a real, bookable place.
The price you see is the price for your dates. You can book online, or ring us and we'll book it with you over the phone.
Each place belongs to its owner, and we take the booking on their behalf. Before you arrive we send you everything you need: directions, how to get the keys, and who to call if something needs fixing. If a question comes up before you travel, you'll get an answer from a person.
