Stables Cottage, Challacombe (Devon) is one of five holiday cottages set in five acres of private meadowland complete with its own lake for you to relax by. The old farm barns are set around a small courtyard and have been converted into holiday accommodation on the two sides.

The plot Stables Cottage sits within fronts onto the River Bray, and is situated on the edge of the village of Challacombe with a traditional village shop and local pub serving good food, only a short five-minute walk away.

The Black Venus pub offering a good selection of ales and ciders plus delicious food is only a 5 minutes stroll away.  There is also a friendly village shop which offers super home-made cakes, pies and pasties.
There are lovely walks directly from the door across Exmoor.
There are 2 walks straight from the door and the whole of Exmoor to explore.  

We are only about 7 miles from the coast at Combe Martin and the large sandy beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton are about a 30 minute drive away.
