One Grooms Cottage in Dunster (Somerset) offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests. Renovated throughout, the property has three bedrooms, one en-suite bathroom and a family bathroom. A fabulous location just a minute from Dunster's High Street with off-street private parking.
One Grooms Cottage in Dunster is a traditional stone built property that has recently been renovated and modernised throughout to offer luxury holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. The cottage is beautifully presented and includes the usual selection of modern conveniences, plus a number of smart technology items (including SKY, Netflix and Goggle Home) to give the property that real wow factor. (Further details provided under the Appliances and Amenties section). The accommodation is split between two levels; entering through the front door on the upper level the entrance leads down a few steps to the kitchen area. Double doors open into the dining room with large oak table and chairs. The sitting room is also on the upper level. Downstairs are the three bedrooms, two double bedrooms (king-sized beds), and one twin bedroom. There is one en-suite shower room and one family bathroom. Outside there is a small courtyard which is accessed via one of the bedrooms. Strictly no smoking. The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.

The kitchen has been completely refitted and is well-equipped with all new appliances, accessories, crockery, cutlery and glasses. The equipment includes an electric oven, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, ‘Hotel Chocolate’ Velvetiser, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle. Ggle Home is also fitted in the kitchen (hands-free help from the virtual Ggle assistant)! The sitting room is spacious and includes 55-inch Smart TV and Bose Soundbar with Sky and Netflix. The large dining room has a solid oak table that seats 8 comfortably. Also in this room is a matching oak desk so if you have to catch up with work or just want to surf the net you can do so in comfort. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property with an added feature of BT Home hub boosting the Wi-Fi to the max. Downstairs, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and is perfect for a honeymoon suite or brides’ room, Ggle Home is fitted as well as a dressing table and all home comforts. There is an en-suite shower room comprising of shower, toilet, and hand-basin. There is a second very spacious comfortable bedroom with king-size bed. Ggle Home is fitted as well as a dressing table, double wardrobe and all home comforts. The third bedroom is bright and cheery and has twin beds. The family bathroom has a lovely free-standing bath with shower over, plus toilet, hand basin and features a bathroom TV so you can relax in the bath and watch your favourite TV programme. Both the bathroom and en-suite shower room are also fitted with lighting mirrors. The main bathroom mirror has Wi-Fi connection and built-in speakers. Toilet paper will be in both the bathroom and en-suite. Further information about how to use these appliances will be provided in the cottage in case you need them. There is a utility cupboard downstairs off of the hall which is where you will find an iron and ironing board and storage for suitcases. The washing machine and dryer are located in the back courtyard. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property and can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips. Two very well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (strictly two dogs maximum). A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice per dog. Please do not allow your dog/s on the furniture and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. There is a small courtyard area with a table and chairs on the lower level of the cottage, this is accessed via one of the bedrooms. The medieval village of Dunster is just a short stroll from the front door, there is a great selection of restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, cafes, shops and galleries all worth a visit, and plenty to keep you entertained for at least one full day!
