Beach View Cottage on the seafront in Minehead (Somerset) is a ground floor property sleeping up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, with sea views across the Bristol Channel. The beach is across the road and the South West Coastal Path starts right here too - it's a delightful holiday home by the seaside!
Beach View Cottage is a self-contained ground floor apartment located near the harbour and just across the road from Minehead beach. This stone-built property with a large exposed beam in the living area gives some hints at the history of the building; it has recently been renovated throughout and tastefully furnished to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay for up to 4 guests. The door opens into a small hallway with space for hanging coats and stowing outside shoes. The living and dining areas are at the front of the property with windows looking out towards the coast. The kitchen is off the main living area. A hallway leads towards the rear of the property and bedrooms and the family bathroom, comprising a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin. The double bedroom is at the far end of the hall has an en-suite, comprising a shower unit, toilet and hand basin.

The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an electric oven and hob, full size dishwasher, fridge-freezer (with chilled water dispenser), microwave, air-fryer, toaster and kettle. For coffee-lovers, there's a cafetiere, a moka pot and Nespresso coffee machine (and a starter selection of pods) provided. There is a good supply of cookware, crockery, glasses, cutlery and utensils. The sitting room has a television mounted on the wall with Freesat, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Beach View Cottage has central heating fitted throughout plus an electric 'wood-burner' in the living area for cosy evenings in. An iron and ironing board are provided for your convenience, plus a hairdryer in each bedroom. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you outside of the cottage. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided per toilet.

There is a courtyard area directly outside the property which provides access to front door, as well as the other properties off the courtyard (3 neighbours). The beach is directly opposite, just across the road. There is a pet-friendly park and play-area approx 100 metres along the road. Minehead harbour is approx 150 metres in the opposite direction. The South West Coast Path starts a short distance down the road on Quay Street and runs along Quay West, before heading up onto the hills behind Minehead town.

Minehead is a walkers paradise, being the gateway to Exmoor and the start of the South West Coastal Path too. The beach outside the house shingle, but reveals sandy areas at low tide. Further along towards the town there is a large sandy beach suitable for swimming.
