The Notley Arms Monksilver - Great food and great hosts, definitely have to book at the weekend.

Luttrell Arms Dunster High Street - Fabulous old building and gorgeous garden, food is really good, have to book a table for the weekend.

Reeves Dunster High Street - Stunning food and personal service have to book for the weekend.

Royal Oak Luxborough -  Good food, with cosy open fires in the winter.

Ship Inn Porlock Weir  - Great pub and beer festival every July.

Porlock Bay Oyster - Fresh oysters hot and cold, with very delicious mains to add.

Pebbles Tavern Watchet - This small unique tavern has won numerous CAMRA awards for Cider Pub of the Year.


The Bittescombe Inn Upton - Lovely pub with good food sourced from the local estate and surrounding area.

The Farmers Arms Coombe Florey - Lovely Thatched Inn, very cosy in the winter and lovely beer garden in the warmer months. Steaks are fabulous!

The Bear Inn Wiveliscombe - Great local pub with its own micro brewery, food is also very good and use local produce.

Wimbleball Lake - An array of walking and cycling trails winding around the 530 acre site, and a fantastic range of watersports and other activities available.

West Somerset Heritage Railway - The West Somerset Railway Heritage Trust maintains and manages two museums along the West Somerset Railway line – the Gauge Museum and the Blue Anchor Railway Museum.

Golf
Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club, The oldest golf club in Somerset, the 600-yard course combines traditional links along the shoreline with more lush fairways inland. First class greens in play all year.

Exmoor National Park

The Linhay as lots of circular walks long and short which you are free to use and take in and around the area, these are some on our favourites

Haddon Hill -A stunning 3 mile circular walk on Exmoor, only a 10 mins drive from with great costal views and the chance to spot a famous Exmoor Pony.

Dunster Beach - This beautiful beach is located about 20 minutes from us, with plenty of parking and stunning views of the coast, with the added bonus of being dog friendly all year round.

Kilve beach - is halfway between Minehead and Bridgwater, in the heart of the Quantocks. Rock pools and fossils, perfect low tide activity.

Quantock Hills - Were England’s first area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many ways to explore this stunning area, a good starting point is the village of Holford.

Porlock Weir is a beautiful harbour, one of the most magical and traditional places within Exmoor.

Watchet to Blue Anchor Beach Walk - This coastal walk takes you from the historic harbour town of Watchet to the pebble beach at Blue Anchor, passing through beautiful countryside and coastal landscapes.

Dunster Castle and Woodland Walk - This scenic walk takes you through the beautiful woodland surrounding Dunster Castle, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Quantock Hills Circular Walk - This 8-mile circular walk takes you through the heart of the Quantock Hills, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Kilve Beach and East Quantoxhead Circular Walk - This 6-mile circular walk takes you along the coast to Kilve Beach and then through the picturesque village of East Quantoxhead.

Valley of Rocks - A scenic walk through a valley filled with unusual rock formations, with stunning views of the sea and the surrounding countryside.

Crowcombe and Combe Wood Walk - This scenic walk takes you through the beautiful Combe Wood, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Bossington Beach Walk - This coastal walk takes you along the shingle beach at Bossington and through the beautiful countryside of the Exmoor National Park.

Holford to Bicknoller Circular Walk - This 5-mile circular walk takes you through the picturesque villages of Holford and Bicknoller, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Minehead Beach - This popular sandy beach is located about 15 miles from us, with plenty of facilities and stunning views of the coast.
